5 Reasons We Can’t WAIT for Spring
et’s face it. March is still winter, and we’ve had enough. But instead of moping, we’re trying to think positive (namely, we’re thinking about spring). Here are a few things we’re looking forward to next season:
1. The end of icky weather. This isn’t just about perma–hat hair and outrageous heat bills. At this point we just want to get to work without having to use an ice pick. Spring=higher temperatures, sunny skies, and significantly less ice (unless you count the ice in our Cold Brew).
2. More sun. One of the best parts about spring? The sun’s out more. That means more opportunities to soak up Vitamin D, lounge outside, take walks. Mmm, we can see it now.
3. Flowers for days. We’re so ready to see some color, especially in the form of daffodils and tulips. Plus, come spring time we can turn our leftover coffee grounds into compost for gardens (did you know coffee grounds double as fertilizer?).
4. It’s prime time for our favorite produce. Avocados. Kiwis. Strawberries. Can’t get much better.
5. Cold Brew season. Obviously. We can finally switch from hot coffee to our refreshing Cold Brew Iced Coffee. (Did you know? It’s not just coffee over ice. We steep coffee grounds in cold water for hours on end to extract the most delicious of coffee flavors, and it’s so worth the extra work.)
