Saxbys 1800 Chestnut

Our newest cafe at 1800 Chestnut St. opens on Nov. 7th! We have an all-star line-up to help us celebrate, including Mayor Jim Kenney and Philadelphia Eagles players, Chris Long & Rodney McLeod! They’ll be our Celebrity Baristas throughout the day! Check out the schedule below to get a full breakdown of who will be at the cafe and when!

The opening will be a Pay-As-You-Wish event to celebrate the establishment of the Saxbys Fellowship, a program designed in partnership with the Community College of Philadelphia that will provide 10 scholarship to College students to help them achieve their academic goals. Pay what you want for menu items all day long. We’ll match 100% of everything we earn on the day of the opening to double the event’s impact.

8 am – Cafe opens

10 am to 10:30 am – City Councilman Allan Domb on bar serving drinks

10:30 am – 11:30 am – Philadelphia Eagles Defensive End Chris Long on bar

11:15 am - 11:30 am - Mayor Jim Kenney stops in

12:00 pm – 1:00 pm – Philadelphia Eagles Safety Rodney McLeod on bar serving drinks

2 pm – 2:30 pm – PA State Representative Jordan Harris on bar serving drinks

3 pm – 3:45 pm – Fox29’s Quincy Harris on bar serving drinks

8 pm - Cafe closes
