Second cafe on Drexel University’s campus

On Tuesday, June 27th, we opened our second cafe on Drexel University’s campus. This cafe, like our first at the university, is completely student run. Drexel student Tauheed Baukman is the cafe’s first student Cafe Executive Officer. He’ll be fully in charge of its operations – from financials to team development.

Drexel President John Fry attended our grand opening and pulled the inaugural espresso shot with our CEO, Nick Bayer.

To mark the opening, we held a pay-as-you-wish event in support of the Workshop School, a West Philadelphia high school whose students helped us build and design the cafe’s furniture.
